Question 1

Was $10,300 a good price for this 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

Accepted Answer

1918 comparable 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE listings sold at auction for a median of $18,950, spanning $11,400 to $26,850. At $10,300 this one went 46% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a salvage mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

This MERCEDES-BENZ GLE has fresh water and flood damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 42,165 miles high for a 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE listings at auction averaged 75,074 miles across 1918 sales, so at 42,165 miles this one sits 44% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Who sold this 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was STATE FARM INSURANCE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
