Question 1

This MERCEDES-BENZ GLE sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 2

What does a ab-non-repairable-alberta mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE was sold on a ab-non-repairable-alberta. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 3

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 24,000 miles high for a 2022 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE listings at auction averaged 47,330 miles across 1001 sales, so at 24,000 miles this one sits 49% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Where was this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in ALBERTA - ACHESON. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN 4JGFB8KB3NA795608?

Accepted Answer

4JGFB8KB3NA795608 identifies this specific 2022 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE with a 4.0l v8 n engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
