Question 1

What do front end 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ GLC models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 821 recorded sales of the 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ GLC with front end damage, the median was $7,600, from $4,350 to $11,600. That is 5% below the $8,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $12,600 a good price for this 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ GLC?

Accepted Answer

1624 comparable 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ GLC listings sold at auction for a median of $8,000, spanning $4,550 to $12,500. At $12,600 this one went 57% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this MERCEDES-BENZ GLC sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ GLC's pre-damage retail value at $18,696. It sold for $12,600 — 33% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

Is 36,400 miles high for a 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ GLC?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ GLC listings at auction averaged 79,477 miles across 1624 sales, so at 36,400 miles this one sits 54% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

This MERCEDES-BENZ GLC has front end and rear end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ GLC. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
