Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ GLC models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 12 recorded sales of the 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ GLC with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $5,600, from $4,050 to $7,100. That is 26% below the $7,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,050 a good price for this 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ GLC?

Accepted Answer

1477 comparable 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ GLC listings sold at auction for a median of $7,600, spanning $4,400 to $11,500. At $4,050 this one went 47% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ GLC?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ GLC was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ GLC from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NJ - AVENEL. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 30 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 136,501 miles high for a 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ GLC?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ GLC listings at auction averaged 90,742 miles across 1477 sales, so at 136,501 miles this one sits 50% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ GLC. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
