Question 1

Was $4,975 a good price for this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLC?

Accepted Answer

843 comparable 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLC listings sold at auction for a median of $6,100, spanning $3,900 to $8,800. At $4,975 this one went 18% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ GLC from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NC - CONCORD. The nearest major vehicle export port is Charleston, roughly 280 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$325, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

Is 135,557 miles high for a 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLC?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLC listings at auction averaged 111,175 miles across 843 sales, so at 135,557 miles this one sits 22% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Did this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLC come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with unknown damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 5

Who sold this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLC?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLC from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLC was listed at IAAI as lot 41553685 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
