Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ GLB models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 64 recorded sales of the 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ GLB with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $11,500, from $7,500 to $15,000. That is 31% above the $8,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $12,000 a good price for this 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ GLB?

Accepted Answer

699 comparable 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ GLB listings sold at auction for a median of $8,800, spanning $5,300 to $12,800. At $12,000 this one went 36% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this MERCEDES-BENZ GLB sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ GLB's pre-damage retail value at $22,600. It sold for $12,000 — 47% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ GLB from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in LA - NEW ORLEANS. The nearest major vehicle export port is New Orleans, roughly 130 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ GLB. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 95,506 miles high for a 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ GLB?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ GLB listings at auction averaged 68,051 miles across 699 sales, so at 95,506 miles this one sits 40% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
