Question 1

Was $7,200 a good price for this 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE?

Accepted Answer

1094 comparable 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE listings sold at auction for a median of $10,550, spanning $5,300 to $16,700. At $7,200 this one went 32% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in CA - CARSON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 1 miles high for a 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE listings at auction averaged 70,058 miles across 1094 sales, so at 1 miles this one sits 100% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

This MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE has fresh water and front end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Did this 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with fresh water damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
