Question 1

What do front end 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 622 recorded sales of the 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE with front end damage, the median was $9,100, from $4,650 to $13,500. That is 4% below the $9,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,150 a good price for this 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE?

Accepted Answer

1334 comparable 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE listings sold at auction for a median of $9,500, spanning $5,100 to $15,000. At $6,150 this one went 35% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

This MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE has front end and electrical damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 1 miles high for a 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE listings at auction averaged 78,757 miles across 1334 sales, so at 1 miles this one sits 100% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in ID - STATEN ISLAND. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 500 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $425-$600, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
