Question 1

What do water/flood 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 101 recorded sales of the 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE with water/flood damage, the median was $8,200, from $5,200 to $12,600. That is 13% below the $9,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in PA - CHALFONT. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 150 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 47,167 miles high for a 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE listings at auction averaged 79,470 miles across 1353 sales, so at 47,167 miles this one sits 41% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with water/flood damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN WDDZF4KB3JA478359?

Accepted Answer

WDDZF4KB3JA478359 identifies this specific 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE in black with a 2.0l 4 engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
