What do rear 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE models sell for?

Across 46 recorded sales of the 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE with rear damage, the median was $10,600, from $5,200 to $14,100. That is 13% above the $9,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $12,300 a good price for this 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE?

1353 comparable 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE listings sold at auction for a median of $9,400, spanning $5,100 to $14,900. At $12,300 this one went 31% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

What does a salvage mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE?

This 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE from an export port?

The lot sat at IAAI in TX - WILMER. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Is 65,018 miles high for a 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE?

Comparable 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE listings at auction averaged 79,560 miles across 1353 sales, so at 65,018 miles this one sits 18% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
