Question 1

What do left front 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 13 recorded sales of the 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE with left front damage, the median was $3,563, from $3,350 to $4,850. That is 27% below the $4,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,400 a good price for this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE?

Accepted Answer

919 comparable 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE listings sold at auction for a median of $4,900, spanning $3,400 to $7,650. At $3,400 this one went 31% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MD - ELKTON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 40 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does a salvage mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 6

Is 96,315 miles high for a 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE listings at auction averaged 97,597 miles across 919 sales, so at 96,315 miles this one sits 1% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
