What do rear 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE models sell for?

Across 53 recorded sales of the 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE with rear damage, the median was $4,538, from $3,175 to $7,150. That is 5% below the $4,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $5,250 a good price for this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE?

941 comparable 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE listings sold at auction for a median of $4,800, spanning $3,350 to $7,500. At $5,250 this one went 9% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

What does a salvage mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE?

This 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE from an export port?

The lot sat at IAAI in MA - EAST TAUNTON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 220 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $275-$400, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Is 86,690 miles high for a 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE?

Comparable 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-KLASSE listings at auction averaged 97,756 miles across 941 sales, so at 86,690 miles this one sits 11% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
