Was $12,700 a good price for this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

930 comparable 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS listings sold at auction for a median of $4,775, spanning $3,325 to $7,500. At $12,700 this one went 166% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

What does a cert of title-slvg rebld flood (p) mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

This 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS was sold on a cert of title-slvg rebld flood (p). The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS from an export port?

The lot sat at COPART in FL - MIAMI CENTRAL. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Is 69,757 miles high for a 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

Comparable 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS listings at auction averaged 97,693 miles across 930 sales, so at 69,757 miles this one sits 29% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Did this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS come with keys?

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with normal wear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
