Question 1

Was $14,200 a good price for this 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

594 comparable 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS listings sold at auction for a median of $12,100, spanning $6,000 to $18,650. At $14,200 this one went 17% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

This MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does "Stationary" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

Stationary is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 111,984 miles high for a 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS listings at auction averaged 57,658 miles across 594 sales, so at 111,984 miles this one sits 94% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Who sold this 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was State Farm Group Insurance. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN WDDZF8EB3LA732450?

Accepted Answer

For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
