Question 1

What do front end 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 884 recorded sales of the 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS with front end damage, the median was $4,850, from $3,300 to $7,700. That is 3% below the $5,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $13,800 a good price for this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

2105 comparable 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS listings sold at auction for a median of $5,000, spanning $3,350 to $8,000. At $13,800 this one went 176% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS's pre-damage retail value at $39,078. It sold for $13,800 — 65% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

This MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS has front end and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 77,449 miles high for a 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS listings at auction averaged 101,101 miles across 2105 sales, so at 77,449 miles this one sits 23% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does a permit no brand - unfit mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS was sold on a permit no brand - unfit. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.
