What do water/flood 2023 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS models sell for?

Across 33 recorded sales of the 2023 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS with water/flood damage, the median was $18,500, from $11,400 to $22,500. That is 6% above the $17,450 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $23,700 a good price for this 2023 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS?

823 comparable 2023 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS listings sold at auction for a median of $17,450, spanning $8,400 to $25,150. At $23,700 this one went 36% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

This MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS sold without keys — does that matter?

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

How much below its undamaged value did this MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS sell for?

The insurer put this 2023 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS's pre-damage retail value at $50,753. It sold for $23,700 — 53% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does a cert of salvage-w=flood veh mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS?

This 2023 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS was sold on a cert of salvage-w=flood veh. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

What does "ENHANCED VEHICLES" mean on this listing?

ENHANCED VEHICLES is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
