Question 1

What do water/flood 2021 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 26 recorded sales of the 2021 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS with water/flood damage, the median was $8,700, from $6,700 to $13,800. That is 14% below the $10,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $14,000 a good price for this 2021 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

817 comparable 2021 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS listings sold at auction for a median of $10,100, spanning $4,750 to $15,100. At $14,000 this one went 39% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2021 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS's pre-damage retail value at $39,467. It sold for $14,000 — 65% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in NJ - GLASSBORO EAST. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 30 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does a cert of title-flood salvage mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

This 2021 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS was sold on a cert of title-flood salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 6

Is 26,622 miles high for a 2021 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS listings at auction averaged 47,366 miles across 817 sales, so at 26,622 miles this one sits 44% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
