Question 1

What do side 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 121 recorded sales of the 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS with side damage, the median was $9,300, from $5,300 to $14,700. That is 13% above the $8,250 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $14,400 a good price for this 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

1542 comparable 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS listings sold at auction for a median of $8,250, spanning $4,550 to $12,900. At $14,400 this one went 75% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS's pre-damage retail value at $30,353. It sold for $14,400 — 53% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "ENGINE START PROGRAM" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE START PROGRAM is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS has side and front end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 49,572 miles high for a 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS listings at auction averaged 68,901 miles across 1542 sales, so at 49,572 miles this one sits 28% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
