Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 115 recorded sales of the 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $6,150, from $3,900 to $11,000. That is 23% above the $5,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $23,500 a good price for this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

2105 comparable 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS listings sold at auction for a median of $5,000, spanning $3,350 to $8,000. At $23,500 this one went 370% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a cert of title or salvage acq (p) mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS was sold on a cert of title or salvage acq (p). A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CA - BAKERSFIELD. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

This MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS has minor dent/scratches and normal wear damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 87,382 miles high for a 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS listings at auction averaged 101,101 miles across 2105 sales, so at 87,382 miles this one sits 14% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
