Question 1

Was $10,325 a good price for this 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

910 comparable 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS listings sold at auction for a median of $8,800, spanning $4,650 to $14,100. At $10,325 this one went 17% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

This MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does "Stationary" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

Stationary is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

This MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS has right front and suspension damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 22,912 miles high for a 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS listings at auction averaged 58,324 miles across 910 sales, so at 22,912 miles this one sits 61% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Where was this MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in ACE - Carson (CA). Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.
