Question 1

What do normal wear 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 30 recorded sales of the 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS with normal wear damage, the median was $7,400, from $4,600 to $14,800. That is 10% above the $6,700 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,600 a good price for this 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

2153 comparable 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS listings sold at auction for a median of $6,700, spanning $4,050 to $10,600. At $6,600 this one went 1% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS's pre-damage retail value at $22,512. It sold for $6,600 — 71% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in GA - ATLANTA SOUTH. The nearest major vehicle export port is Savannah, roughly 250 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $300-$450, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 79,952 miles high for a 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS listings at auction averaged 83,110 miles across 2153 sales, so at 79,952 miles this one sits 4% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with normal wear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
