Question 1

Was $6,475 a good price for this 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

2164 comparable 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS listings sold at auction for a median of $6,700, spanning $4,000 to $10,600. At $6,475 this one went 3% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS's pre-damage retail value at $26,898. It sold for $6,475 — 76% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

Who sold this 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was Wawanesa Insurance. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 4

Did this 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with left front damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN 55SWF4JBXJU237869?

Accepted Answer

55SWF4JBXJU237869 identifies this specific 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS in blue with a 2.0l turbo i4 engine, rear wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS was listed at IAAI as lot 37084480 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
