Was $10,375 a good price for this 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS?

2330 comparable 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS listings sold at auction for a median of $6,100, spanning $3,600 to $10,600. At $10,375 this one went 70% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

What does "Run & Drive" mean on this listing?

Run & Drive is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

This MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS has front end and left front damage — how does that affect it?

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Is 105,874 miles high for a 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS?

Comparable 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS listings at auction averaged 92,364 miles across 2330 sales, so at 105,874 miles this one sits 15% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Who sold this 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS?

The listing seller was State Farm Group Insurance. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Did this 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS come with keys?

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
