Question 1

Was $9,850 a good price for this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

2101 comparable 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS listings sold at auction for a median of $5,000, spanning $3,350 to $8,200. At $9,850 this one went 97% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does "Run & Drive" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

Run & Drive is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

Is 90,716 miles high for a 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS listings at auction averaged 100,573 miles across 2101 sales, so at 90,716 miles this one sits 10% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Did this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with rear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 5

Who sold this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was Progressive Casualty Insurance. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS was listed at IAAI as lot 36806575 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
