Question 1

What do side 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 12 recorded sales of the 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT with side damage, the median was $25,250, from $8,000 to $35,000. That is 21% below the $31,825 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $72,000 a good price for this 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT?

Accepted Answer

119 comparable 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT listings sold at auction for a median of $31,825, spanning $15,200 to $59,000. At $72,000 this one went 126% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT's pre-damage retail value at $141,706. It sold for $72,000 — 49% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

Is 16,892 miles high for a 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT listings at auction averaged 42,191 miles across 119 sales, so at 16,892 miles this one sits 60% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in AZ - PHOENIX. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 380 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $325-$450, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
