Question 1

Was $22,500 a good price for this 2022 MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT?

Accepted Answer

47 comparable 2022 MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT listings sold at auction for a median of $28,000, spanning $15,800 to $44,750. At $22,500 this one went 20% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a salvage mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in IN - JUPITER. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 600 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $500-$725, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 7,671 miles high for a 2022 MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT listings at auction averaged 34,368 miles across 47 sales, so at 7,671 miles this one sits 78% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Did this 2022 MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with normal wear & tear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
