Question 1

What do front end 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 44 recorded sales of the 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT with front end damage, the median was $22,500, from $10,700 to $41,250. That is 22% below the $28,750 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $37,525 a good price for this 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT?

Accepted Answer

89 comparable 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT listings sold at auction for a median of $28,750, spanning $12,300 to $42,000. At $37,525 this one went 31% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT's pre-damage retail value at $56,855. It sold for $37,525 — 34% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 64,363 miles high for a 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT listings at auction averaged 54,176 miles across 89 sales, so at 64,363 miles this one sits 19% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in AL - HUEYTOWN. The nearest major vehicle export port is New Orleans, roughly 350 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $300-$425, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
