Question 1

What do front end 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 16 recorded sales of the 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT with front end damage, the median was $31,250, from $15,900 to $42,750. That is level with the $31,250 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in CA - LOS ANGELES. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

This MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT has front end and left side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 34,342 miles high for a 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT listings at auction averaged 45,862 miles across 34 sales, so at 34,342 miles this one sits 25% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Who sold this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was STATE FARM INSURANCE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
