Question 1

Was $9,000 a good price for this 2018 MAZDA MX-5?

Accepted Answer

83 comparable 2018 MAZDA MX-5 listings sold at auction for a median of $4,500, spanning $3,100 to $6,800. At $9,000 this one went 100% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a salvage title mean for this MAZDA MX-5?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 MAZDA MX-5 was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

How far is this MAZDA MX-5 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in OR - EUGENE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 180 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $225-$325, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 MAZDA MX-5. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 20,793 miles high for a 2018 MAZDA MX-5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 MAZDA MX-5 listings at auction averaged 59,915 miles across 83 sales, so at 20,793 miles this one sits 65% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2018 MAZDA MX-5 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with minor dent/scratches damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
