Question 1

What do front end 2023 MAZDA CX-9 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 213 recorded sales of the 2023 MAZDA CX-9 with front end damage, the median was $7,000, from $3,800 to $10,900. That is 15% below the $8,275 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,775 a good price for this 2023 MAZDA CX-9?

Accepted Answer

429 comparable 2023 MAZDA CX-9 listings sold at auction for a median of $8,275, spanning $4,500 to $14,000. At $6,775 this one went 18% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this MAZDA CX-9?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 MAZDA CX-9 was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 MAZDA CX-9. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this MAZDA CX-9 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in OR - PORTLAND. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 180 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $225-$325, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 70,400 miles high for a 2023 MAZDA CX-9?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 MAZDA CX-9 listings at auction averaged 41,271 miles across 429 sales, so at 70,400 miles this one sits 71% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
