Question 1

What do mechanical 2018 MAZDA CX-9 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 11 recorded sales of the 2018 MAZDA CX-9 with mechanical damage, the median was $4,675, from $3,900 to $6,200. That is 2% below the $4,750 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,300 a good price for this 2018 MAZDA CX-9?

Accepted Answer

660 comparable 2018 MAZDA CX-9 listings sold at auction for a median of $4,750, spanning $3,350 to $7,300. At $7,300 this one went 54% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this MAZDA CX-9 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2018 MAZDA CX-9's pre-damage retail value at $16,050. It sold for $7,300 — 55% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this MAZDA CX-9 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in FL - APOPKA. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 79,966 miles high for a 2018 MAZDA CX-9?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 MAZDA CX-9 listings at auction averaged 107,327 miles across 660 sales, so at 79,966 miles this one sits 25% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does a clean title mean for this MAZDA CX-9?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 MAZDA CX-9 was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.
