Question 1

What do front end 2018 MAZDA CX-9 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 254 recorded sales of the 2018 MAZDA CX-9 with front end damage, the median was $4,350, from $3,250 to $6,600. That is 9% below the $4,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This MAZDA CX-9 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does a salvage title mean for this MAZDA CX-9?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 MAZDA CX-9 was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

Is 100,437 miles high for a 2018 MAZDA CX-9?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 MAZDA CX-9 listings at auction averaged 107,271 miles across 646 sales, so at 100,437 miles this one sits 6% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

How far is this MAZDA CX-9 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in NC - GASTONIA. The nearest major vehicle export port is Charleston, roughly 280 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$325, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 MAZDA CX-9. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
