Question 1

What do rear 2018 MAZDA CX-9 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 25 recorded sales of the 2018 MAZDA CX-9 with rear damage, the median was $5,088, from $3,850 to $6,950. That is 7% above the $4,750 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,450 a good price for this 2018 MAZDA CX-9?

Accepted Answer

660 comparable 2018 MAZDA CX-9 listings sold at auction for a median of $4,750, spanning $3,350 to $7,300. At $4,450 this one went 6% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this MAZDA CX-9 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in WA - PUYALLUP. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 60 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 159,962 miles high for a 2018 MAZDA CX-9?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 MAZDA CX-9 listings at auction averaged 107,327 miles across 660 sales, so at 159,962 miles this one sits 49% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2018 MAZDA CX-9 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with rear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Who sold this 2018 MAZDA CX-9?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
