Question 1

What do left side 2016 MAZDA CX-9 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 14 recorded sales of the 2016 MAZDA CX-9 with left side damage, the median was $4,100, from $3,325 to $5,450. That is 1% below the $4,138 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,950 a good price for this 2016 MAZDA CX-9?

Accepted Answer

437 comparable 2016 MAZDA CX-9 listings sold at auction for a median of $4,138, spanning $3,150 to $6,100. At $3,950 this one went 5% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this MAZDA CX-9?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 MAZDA CX-9 was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

This MAZDA CX-9 has left side and right side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

How far is this MAZDA CX-9 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in PA - LATIMORE TOWNSHIP. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 150 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 128,400 miles high for a 2016 MAZDA CX-9?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 MAZDA CX-9 listings at auction averaged 120,149 miles across 437 sales, so at 128,400 miles this one sits 7% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
