Question 1

Was $11,200 a good price for this 2023 MAZDA CX-9?

Accepted Answer

420 comparable 2023 MAZDA CX-9 listings sold at auction for a median of $8,300, spanning $4,550 to $14,000. At $11,200 this one went 35% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this MAZDA CX-9 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2023 MAZDA CX-9's pre-damage retail value at $40,698. It sold for $11,200 — 72% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this MAZDA CX-9?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 MAZDA CX-9 was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 MAZDA CX-9. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 50,293 miles high for a 2023 MAZDA CX-9?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 MAZDA CX-9 listings at auction averaged 40,969 miles across 420 sales, so at 50,293 miles this one sits 23% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Where was this MAZDA CX-9 located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at COPART in ON - LONDON. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.
