Question 1

What do front end 2019 MAZDA CX-9 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 264 recorded sales of the 2019 MAZDA CX-9 with front end damage, the median was $4,400, from $3,200 to $6,800. That is 12% below the $4,975 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,250 a good price for this 2019 MAZDA CX-9?

Accepted Answer

577 comparable 2019 MAZDA CX-9 listings sold at auction for a median of $4,975, spanning $3,350 to $8,150. At $3,250 this one went 35% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this MAZDA CX-9 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2019 MAZDA CX-9's pre-damage retail value at $19,100. It sold for $3,250 — 83% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 MAZDA CX-9. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this MAZDA CX-9 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in IL - WHEELING. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 112,443 miles high for a 2019 MAZDA CX-9?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 MAZDA CX-9 listings at auction averaged 86,720 miles across 577 sales, so at 112,443 miles this one sits 30% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
