Question 1

What do front end 2016 MAZDA CX-9 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 169 recorded sales of the 2016 MAZDA CX-9 with front end damage, the median was $3,838, from $3,150 to $5,600. That is 6% below the $4,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,600 a good price for this 2016 MAZDA CX-9?

Accepted Answer

452 comparable 2016 MAZDA CX-9 listings sold at auction for a median of $4,100, spanning $3,150 to $6,100. At $6,600 this one went 61% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this MAZDA CX-9?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 MAZDA CX-9 was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this MAZDA CX-9 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MI - LAKE CITY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 550 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $475-$650, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 137,280 miles high for a 2016 MAZDA CX-9?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 MAZDA CX-9 listings at auction averaged 120,342 miles across 452 sales, so at 137,280 miles this one sits 14% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 MAZDA CX-9. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
