Question 1

What do front end 2021 MAZDA CX-9 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 331 recorded sales of the 2021 MAZDA CX-9 with front end damage, the median was $5,600, from $3,400 to $8,600. That is 12% below the $6,338 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,300 a good price for this 2021 MAZDA CX-9?

Accepted Answer

691 comparable 2021 MAZDA CX-9 listings sold at auction for a median of $6,338, spanning $3,625 to $10,025. At $6,300 this one went 1% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This MAZDA CX-9 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a salvage mean for this MAZDA CX-9?

Accepted Answer

This 2021 MAZDA CX-9 was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

This MAZDA CX-9 has front end and unknown damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 61,798 miles high for a 2021 MAZDA CX-9?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 MAZDA CX-9 listings at auction averaged 66,917 miles across 691 sales, so at 61,798 miles this one sits 8% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
