Question 1

Was $6,600 a good price for this 2019 MAZDA CX-9?

Accepted Answer

586 comparable 2019 MAZDA CX-9 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,000, spanning $3,350 to $8,150. At $6,600 this one went 32% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this MAZDA CX-9 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2019 MAZDA CX-9's pre-damage retail value at $14,000. It sold for $6,600 — 53% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this MAZDA CX-9?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 MAZDA CX-9 was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

This MAZDA CX-9 has damage history and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 MAZDA CX-9. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 87,714 miles high for a 2019 MAZDA CX-9?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 MAZDA CX-9 listings at auction averaged 87,019 miles across 586 sales, so at 87,714 miles this one sits 1% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
