Question 1

What do front end 2018 MAZDA CX-9 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 243 recorded sales of the 2018 MAZDA CX-9 with front end damage, the median was $4,375, from $3,250 to $6,600. That is 9% below the $4,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,975 a good price for this 2018 MAZDA CX-9?

Accepted Answer

608 comparable 2018 MAZDA CX-9 listings sold at auction for a median of $4,800, spanning $3,400 to $7,400. At $7,975 this one went 66% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this MAZDA CX-9?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 MAZDA CX-9 was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

This MAZDA CX-9 has front end and unknown damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 137,791 miles high for a 2018 MAZDA CX-9?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 MAZDA CX-9 listings at auction averaged 106,810 miles across 608 sales, so at 137,791 miles this one sits 29% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How far is this MAZDA CX-9 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in GA - ACWORTH. The nearest major vehicle export port is Savannah, roughly 250 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $300-$450, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
