Question 1

What do front end 2022 MAZDA CX-9 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 199 recorded sales of the 2022 MAZDA CX-9 with front end damage, the median was $6,000, from $3,550 to $9,200. That is 13% below the $6,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,000 a good price for this 2022 MAZDA CX-9?

Accepted Answer

419 comparable 2022 MAZDA CX-9 listings sold at auction for a median of $6,900, spanning $3,975 to $11,300. At $8,000 this one went 16% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This MAZDA CX-9 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

Is 50,672 miles high for a 2022 MAZDA CX-9?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 MAZDA CX-9 listings at auction averaged 53,815 miles across 419 sales, so at 50,672 miles this one sits 6% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 MAZDA CX-9. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

This MAZDA CX-9 has front end and electrical damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
