Question 1

What do rear end 2023 MAZDA CX-50 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 61 recorded sales of the 2023 MAZDA CX-50 with rear end damage, the median was $8,300, from $5,100 to $13,200. That is 4% above the $8,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,500 a good price for this 2023 MAZDA CX-50?

Accepted Answer

663 comparable 2023 MAZDA CX-50 listings sold at auction for a median of $8,000, spanning $4,700 to $11,900. At $7,500 this one went 6% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this MAZDA CX-50 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2023 MAZDA CX-50's pre-damage retail value at $24,785. It sold for $7,500 — 70% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this MAZDA CX-50?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 MAZDA CX-50 was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

Is 22,588 miles high for a 2023 MAZDA CX-50?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 MAZDA CX-50 listings at auction averaged 40,394 miles across 663 sales, so at 22,588 miles this one sits 44% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 MAZDA CX-50. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
