Question 1

What do side 2019 MAZDA CX-5 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 264 recorded sales of the 2019 MAZDA CX-5 with side damage, the median was $5,500, from $3,950 to $7,800. That is 8% above the $5,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,450 a good price for this 2019 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

2650 comparable 2019 MAZDA CX-5 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,100, spanning $3,500 to $7,525. At $3,450 this one went 32% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this MAZDA CX-5 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2019 MAZDA CX-5's pre-damage retail value at $18,071. It sold for $3,450 — 81% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 MAZDA CX-5 was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

This MAZDA CX-5 has side and front end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 77,457 miles high for a 2019 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 MAZDA CX-5 listings at auction averaged 79,166 miles across 2650 sales, so at 77,457 miles this one sits 2% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
