Question 1

What do front & rear 2017 MAZDA CX-5 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 24 recorded sales of the 2017 MAZDA CX-5 with front & rear damage, the median was $3,850, from $3,250 to $5,050. That is 16% below the $4,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This MAZDA CX-5 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 MAZDA CX-5. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 1 miles high for a 2017 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 MAZDA CX-5 listings at auction averaged 101,764 miles across 1746 sales, so at 1 miles this one sits 100% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Where was this MAZDA CX-5 located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in AK - WASILLA. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Question 6

Who sold this 2017 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was STATE FARM INSURANCE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
