What do water/flood 2020 MAZDA CX-5 models sell for?

Across 17 recorded sales of the 2020 MAZDA CX-5 with water/flood damage, the median was $6,100, from $3,750 to $8,800. That is 12% above the $5,450 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $7,800 a good price for this 2020 MAZDA CX-5?

2259 comparable 2020 MAZDA CX-5 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,450, spanning $3,600 to $8,100. At $7,800 this one went 43% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this MAZDA CX-5 sell for?

The insurer put this 2020 MAZDA CX-5's pre-damage retail value at $20,435. It sold for $7,800 — 62% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does a salvage title mean for this MAZDA CX-5?

This 2020 MAZDA CX-5 was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Is 32,119 miles high for a 2020 MAZDA CX-5?

Comparable 2020 MAZDA CX-5 listings at auction averaged 71,420 miles across 2259 sales, so at 32,119 miles this one sits 55% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 MAZDA CX-5. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
