Question 1

What do mechanical 2025 MAZDA CX-5 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 10 recorded sales of the 2025 MAZDA CX-5 with mechanical damage, the median was $9,900, from $3,600 to $13,200. That is 13% above the $8,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,600 a good price for this 2025 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

2094 comparable 2025 MAZDA CX-5 listings sold at auction for a median of $8,800, spanning $4,600 to $14,800. At $7,600 this one went 14% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this MAZDA CX-5 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2025 MAZDA CX-5's pre-damage retail value at $30,375. It sold for $7,600 — 75% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a non-repairable mean for this MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

This 2025 MAZDA CX-5 was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 5

This MAZDA CX-5 has mechanical and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 16,312 miles high for a 2025 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2025 MAZDA CX-5 listings at auction averaged 53,137 miles across 2094 sales, so at 16,312 miles this one sits 69% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
