Question 1

What do water/flood 2022 MAZDA CX-5 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 13 recorded sales of the 2022 MAZDA CX-5 with water/flood damage, the median was $7,300, from $5,600 to $8,200. That is 5% above the $6,975 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,100 a good price for this 2022 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

1472 comparable 2022 MAZDA CX-5 listings sold at auction for a median of $6,975, spanning $4,150 to $10,100. At $7,100 this one went 2% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this MAZDA CX-5 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2022 MAZDA CX-5's pre-damage retail value at $23,848. It sold for $7,100 — 70% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a non-repairable mean for this MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 MAZDA CX-5 was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 5

How far is this MAZDA CX-5 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in FL - FORT PIERCE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Who sold this 2022 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was USAA. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
