Question 1

What do front end 2025 MAZDA CX-5 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 1031 recorded sales of the 2025 MAZDA CX-5 with front end damage, the median was $8,450, from $4,500 to $13,800. That is 5% below the $8,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,500 a good price for this 2025 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

1980 comparable 2025 MAZDA CX-5 listings sold at auction for a median of $8,900, spanning $4,600 to $14,975. At $7,500 this one went 16% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this MAZDA CX-5 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2025 MAZDA CX-5's pre-damage retail value at $29,713. It sold for $7,500 — 75% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

This MAZDA CX-5 has front end and rear end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

What does a salvage title mean for this MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

This 2025 MAZDA CX-5 was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 6

Is 5,318 miles high for a 2025 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2025 MAZDA CX-5 listings at auction averaged 55,235 miles across 1980 sales, so at 5,318 miles this one sits 90% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
