Question 1

What does a on-salvage-ontario mean for this MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

This 2025 MAZDA CX-5 was sold on a on-salvage-ontario. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 2

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2025 MAZDA CX-5. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

This MAZDA CX-5 has electrical and left side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

Is 28,720 miles high for a 2025 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2025 MAZDA CX-5 listings at auction averaged 52,932 miles across 2108 sales, so at 28,720 miles this one sits 46% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2025 MAZDA CX-5 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with electrical damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2025 MAZDA CX-5 from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2025 MAZDA CX-5 was listed at IAAI as lot 12458019 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
