Question 1

What do rear 2017 MAZDA CX-5 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 68 recorded sales of the 2017 MAZDA CX-5 with rear damage, the median was $4,850, from $3,600 to $6,100. That is 5% above the $4,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a qc-v.g.a-quebec mean for this MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 MAZDA CX-5 was sold on a qc-v.g.a-quebec. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 3

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 MAZDA CX-5. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 122,411 miles high for a 2017 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 MAZDA CX-5 listings at auction averaged 102,050 miles across 1814 sales, so at 122,411 miles this one sits 20% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

This MAZDA CX-5 has rear and front damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Where was this MAZDA CX-5 located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in QUEBEC - LAVAL. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.
